The film took home the Audience Award for Best Quebec Feature at Fantasia Film Festival (2026). The film is currently on a limited release theatrical run—but be sure to follow them on Instagram and their website for updates.
Now, these are two indie filmmakers you need to have on your radar. They're carving their own path, one film at a time (actually quite a few films at a time), and all that hard work has taken them on a grand journey to getting to make this feature film. The film is based on a true story—and these two dug deep on the topic on hand about addiction and familial bonds.
These two share a lot on the topic of independent filmmaking, the process, the collaborative effort, and share key learning points from this latest creative endeavor (i.e. don't shoot car scenes)!
